Ready to shave it off
Ready to shave it off

Well, today was the day. Following the start of hair loss yesterday, I decided to be done with this, and have Kyle shave it all off today.

Punk
He had some fun with it. First a little punk and then the final cut, with a little duck.
Done with a duck
Some observations.

First of all, it is cold outside. I did not notice this in the afternoon, but this evening without hair, I was actually cold.

Getting out in the morning is going to be easy, nothing to comb, just a quick buff. And I am going to save a fortune on shampoo and conditioner.

I expect in the next few days the stubble will be gone too.

Love the duck - how appropriate for maduckie! Glad to hear that your port is finally healing. Take care & see you soon.

love the duckie! you look fabulous lady! if the stubble does what mine did you'll find it in your soup. then you'll rush off to the nearest walk-in salon and get it shaved bald. trust me - you'll like it. what they didn't tell you is you still need to condition your scalp. i'm using giovanni's leave in conditioner and it's great. just a teeny tiny bit is enough. you'll learn to know which hats to wear when - but i happen to like mercerised cotton crocheted caps with big holes. they provide the right heat to cool ratio and stay put (as opposed to some fleece ones which end up moving about and covering your eyes at the most inopportune times - like during web meetings). i know this is really hard, inez, but it does get easier. honestly. hugs...ellie
